What good stuff do we put in our products and why?

We use the best products that are good for you.  If I wouldn't put it on MY skin, I wouldn't ask you to put it on yours.

Here are SOME of the products we use and why:

Shea Butter -  Shea Butter is a soothing balm for many different skin conditions. Shea butter is typically used for its moisturizing effects. These benefits are tied to shea’s fatty acid content, including linoleic, oleic, stearic, and palmitic acid, and rich in Vitamin A. When you apply shea topically, these oils are rapidly absorbed into your skin. They act as a “refatting” agent, restoring lipids and rapidly creating moisture.

This restores the barrier between your skin and the outside environment, holding moisture in and reducing your risk of dryness.

Avocado Butter and Macadamia Butter- Smooths wrinkles and prevents skin aging. It adds antioxidants to the skin and lightens and hydrates it, too. Combined with vitamin B12, it has great results in alleviating psoriasis. Strengthens hair from their roots, adds softness to dry hair, stimulates hair growth and prevents hair loss.

Chamomile Butter- Alleviates redness: "Chamomile placates redness because of its anti-inflammatory properties.

Soothes sensitive skin: "There is basic science research showing that chamomile helps block signals in the body known as prostaglandins, which are responsible for inflammation.

Decreases signs of aging: The polyphenols and phytochemicals in chamomile are known to speed up cell regeneration, reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and scars.

Green Tea Butter-  Green tea is chock full of vitamin B2 and vitamin E, both essential for skin health. B2 plays an essential role in maintaining collagen levels for youthful skin structure and firmness. Vitamin E supports new skin cell growth and also acts as an intense hydrator for dry or imbalanced skin.

Evening Primrose Oil -Evening primrose oil has many properties that are beneficial to the health of your skin. Not only does evening primrose oil moisturize and soothe, it can enhance the texture and elasticity of skin, addressing dryness, irritation, roughness and wrinkles.

The key ingredients in evening primrose oil are essential fatty acids that help strengthen the skin barrier and reduce moisture loss.

Meadowfoam Oil- When applied to the skin, meadowfoam seed oil acts as an emollient, sealing in moisture and keeping the skin soft and supple.
